What's cleverness ?

I am called seedha sadha in my family. I feel offended when they say that becoz in today's world simple people become prey to clever people.
Hard fact but true.

Analyzing myself I think i am smart person but not clever. Reason is I don't know what's cleverness and how does one become clever.

So what do you think is cleverness, chalaak or shatir lomdi ??
Is fooling others makes one clever ? Or getting laid with multiple women, having multiple gf/ bfs, lying to people around you, Will you call such person clever ??

If not him, is a ranker in school or college who is  very strong in academic. Is he clever ?

What does anyone do which makes them clever ??
It tickles the mind isn't it, you are able to judge a person clever or dum through your experience with them but its difficult to actually define cleverness.

After storming myself again and again What I came to the conclusion that the one whom I'll call clever is who is able to get everything out of the other person and they don't know about it. he is a person who has skeptical mind. He'll be able to introspect and take whatever he needs from you for himself without you realizing it. Like deligating a useless work but making it sound like its a hell lot important job and you have been shouldered a big responsibility, a trick to get work properly done by juniors. Now what should one call this cleverness or smartness?

Normally what I have noticed is clever word is used in bit negative sense. You call a scholar, person with good convincing power, leadership skills smart and not clever.
Manmohan Singh is smart but Sonia Gandhi is clever.

If you notice the trademarks of both the words are same. A clever person is also smart but there is a mean, motive or gain in their actions.
If smartness is a talent then cleverness is how to you it. You can be taught how to become smart but not clever that is something that you learn with time and bad experience. I call it bad becoz you will be the cry first and then you will learn through that fall.

I would say In our world its better to be clever than just smart.

Different people have different thinking not many will agree to what I have said that's becoz we all have lived a different life and have different experiences. What might be bad for you might not be for me or what might not be good for you might be for me.
So we all have our own school of thoughts. I would like to know what you think and what is your understanding.

Value of truth

We live in World of lies or improvisations as people say it. It's important to compare value of truth and the power to lie for a person to succeed in this decade.
One day I was sitting late in office with my boss, he asked to order dinner "a dal khichidi for me and one juice" while giving order in restaurant on phone I forget to order what the boss asked for and ordered 3 chapati for myself. Before parcel came I realised what I have done. Now I had 2 options either tell my boss that I forgot to order yr food and face his agony or wait for order to come. I resorted for the second option and when the order came as expected their was no dal khichdi so my boss asked me where is my food I made a surprising face and acted as if I don't know anything and I m going to sue the restro manger for not sending the dal khichdi, seeing my angry face my boss settled with whatever was there on the table and asked me to control my anger and said he is fine.
The point is with bit of Smartness and courage I was not only saved from my bosses agony and scolding rather made an good impression with my acting.
In this mean world people pond on Rajaharish Chandra kind of people who say the truth and admit their mistakes. Admitting your mistakes again and again makes one look stupid and a soft target for everyone. It also reduces your confidence and yr bosses confidence on you.
Forgeting things, making mistakes everyone does that but rather then admitting that in public they cleverly improvise the situation and turn it in their advantage even if they have to  lie for it.

I feel bad that I m promoting lies but in this world person who lie and get away with it is called clever, smart and person telling truth is fool, dum, jukebox.
For people who think that this is morally wrong I totally agree with them, no parent teaches thier child to lie but answer my question what will you achieve by becoming Raja harishchandra you will be scolded, beaten, considered an idiot and will be made fun off whole yr life also you will not be able to handle any situation in life with confidence.
In this era only those succeed who use their cleverness and smartness to fool others and safeguard themself from getting fooled ..

However a lie is good to save guard yrself but it should never be used as a weapon to hurt anyone. That gets you into trouble if u get caught you loose the trust of people around you.
So please understand like their is limit to everything in life lie also has limits you have to be wise when to stop.

Test Of Secularism

We live in a dynamic and highly versatile society with millions of people and their thousands of gods and beliefs. India alone has more than 330 million of gods. Each god has his distinct teachings . Each religion has diverse religious practices. Day n night you and me witness these diversities in the people around us. Take it dressing, eating habits or spiritual ceremonies. Then there are different cultures, regionals and castes which form part of our societies.

With this much divergence there is bond to be clashes of beliefs among people. It's mournful when impudent people try to posit their religion being superior of others and use religious sentiments to provoke devotees against each other, creating a hateful environment leading to bloody battles and loss of millions of innocent human lives.

I agree to it however in this kalyug (hindus philosophy means destructive era) practical it is very difficult for anyone to fully abide to it, specially for the person who's family was burned in the communal fights or person affected in rights. For that matter of fact how can anyone who has witness this hell can trust or not question the intentions of a religion, community who is time and again found in papers for some or other inhuman activities, how can they keep a neutral view !!

Talking about India due to terror attacks, bomb blasts, brutal rights there is a sense of unsecurity, fear even terror amongst people towards Islamic religion. Generally people while conversing firstly ask for the surname of other person then judging his caste and religion roll over with other talks. Due to high religious sentiments even most elite, esteem and highly educated people in the country knowing difference of  right and wrong make such statements provoking communal rage in the country. If they can't have neutral view how can we expect an illiterate person to understand secularism and brotherhood.

What I conclude by all this is majority of people love their religion, caste and culture becoz that defines then, its their identity and no one likes dishonor of his identity whatever it may be right or wrong. According to what I understand secularism does not ask to like another religion or accept their beliefs. Secularism just says even though you don't like some community don't let that view bear upon a better decision, do what is morally right like provide education to all, don't discriminate between a Hindu and a Muslim student, right to reside anywhere in the country, right to practice your religion. If there is any development project becoz of which some temples or mosque have to be demolished, than component authority should take appropriate decision keeping in mind future of the society.

A secularist doesn't have to demonstrate his secularism whereas people who don't understand secularism are normally portraying as the icon of secularism.

Spell of Moon

Why does heart desire the one who is impossible to get ? Why does mind recall memories of who is no more in your life ? Why do you think about them every night ? Why is it difficult to move on even when you know you have hit a dead end ?

Road of life has many turns and on one turn you find that one. Even though you didn't believe in the constitution of that emotion and you laughed on the Freinds who cry for their loveloss. You fell for the same "Spell of love". At first you didn't acknowledge it but slowly, hours of talking and comfortness with them made it difficult of spend time without them. You try to manage work, home, friends to get time for them. Which helped you realize that you both are more than friends. In true love, world knows about your love before you do.
Being in a relationship you think about things which you had never cared for before like pimples, dressing sense, looks and most disastrous "emotions". Emotions of how you feel about things that happen in your life and your lover's.
No doubt being in a relationship helps you to improve your personality, how you carry yourself, how to talk with opposite sex, this also gives you confidence in your day today life and not to forget loads of happiness.
For a time love life runs smoothly but after some time the ride becomes bumpy and hectic because of various issues on both ends like family problems, lies, ignorance, cheating. Sometimes a misconception or lack of understanding or trust ends your love ride.

Then starts a safari of shallowness,  suffering and pain in your life which grows more than love you ever got. The breakup starts with headache and ends with heart break.

People are part of life. You should take positives out of your relationship and focus on your future.
Your love taught you many things however took away ample of time from you which you could have devoted towards your career. Ultimately you will flourish with good career and education.

That's why please don't drown in your past rather work hard to secure your future. I know easier said than done, but trying is all in your hand. Remember " tute Dil se hi sangeet nekalta hai" - Rockstar.

Best friends are passangers to the next station

I m surrounded by great friends, its always a blast to be around them, we crack jokes and have fun together, its like there is great gelling between us. We are best buddies forever.

It's always cracking to have good company and smashing fun. However this friendship that you die for becomes fallible when all of you go your separate ways. By ways I mean careers, jobs, endeavors.
Normally this happens after school and colleges where you part from your best friends.
Time passes by and the steel strong friendship starts to catch rust. One starts to get busy in their lives. Some friends maintain contact. But at times close ones whom you desire most goes far away from you.
You being a considerate friend tries to revive contact by calling him. However after three four consecutive calls you realize that only you are making efforts to be in touch with him. He is never calling you back or he is never free and is not giving you proper time.

Finally you think, you have lost your best buddy. And try to figure out where things went wrong. Why he has become so ignorant ? one who used to call for even his small problems, what happened to that guy? He was Caring, reliable, considerate, fun loving friend. So what changed him ?

Friends this is a phase of life that you and me both has faced in our lives and will be seeing it again in future.

Sometimes the friendship bond become so strong that we stop thinking practically and wish things to go as per our desires.
Yes you are right being in contact is not a big thing to expect but then you should understand the situation in which your friend is, his busy schedules and various problem he is facing in his life.
There are also cases when a friend wants to talk back but don't as long time has passed since the talk and now he doesn't know what to say and what to ask.
You should also understand the nature of your friend. He might be hilarious and a great company to be with, a good friend but he does not have the habit of calling or holding on to friends. He is the guy who lives in present moves over his past.

What I mean to say by all this is I personally feel that you shouldn't repent about lost friends. You should try to revive yr frdship no doubt however you can't force friendship on someone. You should come to consciousness that It's part of life people come and go you can't hold back everyone.

You will find Best friends at each station of your journey but TRUE friend will be the one who stays till the end of the your journey without your asking.
I hope I could be that true friend for someone.

Pursue Desires

Temptation, world is filled it . It's easy to say loose all yr temptation to achieve that bigger goal, suffer today to be happy tomorrow however ultimately you want tempation also take it girl, entertainment, friendship or moment of happiness.
Sacrifice, leave, forget these are the words of a person who never had the opportunity to be blissful or he is a loner.
For the rest Temptation are part and parcel of life you are invited for parties, you get time to be with someone special or you like to spend time on yourself.
Ceasing or prohibiting these things for a rat race will destroy your unique identity. Your interest your hobbies, your friends are that define you.
I am not suggesting you to throw away your books or career. I am asking you to manager things.
Yes, manger no sacrifice no dumping. You have desires, prioritize it. Stagger your time with respect to your desire and regulate yourself within those limits.

Becoz I want the degree and the girl !!!:P

India : harness the potential of people

India is the golden bird not in sense of gold or gems it had but the talented people it possesses. Do u know most of NASA employees are indians, some of worlds giant MNCs executive/director is an Indian like rajat Gupta MD of Goldman Sachs, Rahuram rajan is the visiting faculty of harward and Stanford college worlds most esteem institutes of education, Mr. subharao  was the advisor of world bank, amritya sen won noble prize for his contribution in economics.
India has lots of knowledgeable people and there are lot more examples which factually prove this point. In a recent interview Obama has said Indians and Chinese have out - educated Americans, even the world recognizes the potential of Indians.

Now the question that instantly arises in our mind is if our country has such paramounting talent then why are we not a stable economy? Onion rates go haywire, rupee goes for roller coaster ride. why is the country run by criminals and illiterates when we have highly qualified people who r more deserving? Why India spends so low on research and development? Why are we not able to innovate new horrizons ? Why do India work as an back end office of US ? And why are we still THIRD world ????

Government of India realizes the importance of human resource, India's 11th 5 yr plan focuses on development of human resource in the country. But still if we see India is not able to provide better future prospective to the talented mob due to which these people opt for careers in foreign nations where they get better recognition for their work and handsome pay.
India lacks infrastructure and belief in potential of talent in the people due to which India is now able to harness its own potential.
India should give proper opportunity
And keep faith in youngsters.
If India wants to become super power one day the biggest challenger in front of it will be to not only to provide education but to provide job security, India should try and retain the talented people by giving them better future prospective, handsome pay, an environment to work and grow.
All this will channelize their power towards rapid growth of the country in all areas take it political, economic or social front.
And then one day we will be at par with the first world.

Night of Shallowness

Sometimes even after being surrounded by yr best Frds you feel alone, even after having blast throughout the day you go home and it feels like u r in vaccum with no air... mind starts to play game with you showing things u have forgetten, memories which u have buried in the deepest part of your heart, u start to feel sudden chill in the air, there is pin drop silence in the room n even the sound of wall clock become roving. Time becomes evil, how much you try to pass time the niddles in the circle won't move it becomes redundant towards you.

Why does this happen with you time an again ?
If I understand it right its becoz smthing has happened in your past which did not go yr way, some result which did not adhere with yr desire, smthing which went wrong overwhich u had no control but u time n again think if u could have done smthg, smthg to change that outcome, that result, that decision which made things go haywire.

If that is the case then my Frd the best thing to do in times like this is to firstly keep yr cool and try not to agonies yrself. Secondly to think rationally and tell yourself is it worth to beat yr heart about the past, becoz whatever u do things won't be different u can't get the answer rgt, u can't take back yr decision and u can't getback that loved one.

So to avoid paramounting of thoughts you should pick yr phone and call a frd. A Frd is the medicine for all your grievances...
He will help you get though this time and you will be back to your normalself.

Spread your wings

Lot n lots of things are there that people say about u, talk about u at your back, curse you, bless you, envy you....and u time n again think about that.
Even before doing anything these talks are in your mind Whts he gono think !! wht they'll say !!
Normally people are not able to groom their personality (what I say is spread there wings) due to such fear and image consciousness.
Friends what I have learned from my experience of Mumbai is whatever u do in your life good, bad, excellent, shameful the mob, the crowd with whom we live is going to peak in your life and comment on u.
So why to care about them .... Who are you worried about your aunty uncle neighbour society!!
Howww... Howww... Is worse they can do to you.
So please take some courage and do what you want to do.
I m sure you well feel drastic change in yourself take it your knowledge, speaking skills or body language for that sake...
Doing your thing will make u feel blissful, happy,contented and positive in your approach towards situations. this way you will be able to keep people u love cheerful n pleased...
So take my rubbish advice be crazy, go for an adventure. life is big and it has lots to offer.
